Shipping Policy
Article 1. Where we ship
We currently ship exclusively within the Netherlands. We don't offer shipping to other countries at this time.
Article 2. Shipping methods and delivery times
2.1 Standard shipping is free and takes 2 to 5 business days from the moment your order is confirmed.
2.2 Insured express shipping is available at checkout for €4.95, and delivers within 2 to 3 business days.
2.3 These are estimated delivery times, not guaranteed delivery dates, and can occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control, such as delays at the carrier.
Article 3. Where your order ships from
Depending on where an item is in stock, your order may be shipped from our warehouse in Germany or our warehouse in France. FedEx delivers your parcel either way, and this doesn't affect delivery within the Netherlands. You may notice a German or French sender address on the parcel, this is expected and not a mistake.
Article 4. Order tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a FedEx tracking number by email so you can follow your parcel to its destination.
Article 5. Damaged, delayed, or lost parcels
5.1 Regardless of which shipping method you choose, the goods remain our responsibility until you actually receive them. If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged, this is not something you need to resolve with FedEx yourself, contact us at info@birdjk.com and we will arrange a reshipment or a full refund, including shipping costs.
5.2 Choosing insured express shipping doesn't change your rights if something goes wrong, it simply means we can resolve a lost or damaged parcel with FedEx more quickly on our end, and it comes with faster delivery and tracking as standard features.
5.3 If a parcel appears delayed beyond the estimated delivery window, contact us and we'll look into it with FedEx on your behalf.
Article 6. Shipping costs
Standard shipping is free. Insured express shipping costs €4.95 and is optional at checkout.
Article 7. Returns
Returns are handled in our Returns and Refunds Policy, and in the right of withdrawal section of our Terms and Conditions. This policy only covers the outbound delivery of your order.
